Moratorium on donations of archival material and manuscript collections

A moratorium has been placed on the intake of new archival material by the Campbell Collections.  This moratorium will remain in place while storage issues at Campbell Collections are being addressed.  Due to these circumstances, the Campbell Collections regrets that from the 1 November 2012 it cannot accept any donation offers of archival material or manuscript collections, including additions to existing collections. When the storage issues have been resolved, notification of the lifting of the moratorium will be placed on this website.

Please note that this moratorium does not apply to the museum holdings, however only ethnographic material and artworks that pertain to KwaZulu-Natal are accepted.
