Mrs A. Taylor was an early Durban resident. She was a pupil at the Girls' Model School in Albert Street around 1895. This collection consists of her reminiscences of life in Durban a few years before the turn of the century. Mrs Taylor originally sent her accounts to the Natal Mercury.
