John Watt (Jack) Grossert, born in 1913, was Inspector of Arts and Crafts for Bantu Education, tasked with introducing Arts and Crafts as a subject in the Bantu Education curriculum. He collected a number of the School Art works held by the William Campbell Furniture and Picture Museum
